There are many ways to get involved — from hosting a project to mentoring students or sponsoring key events.
Host a Project
Bring your organization’s data challenge to our students. Project hosts provide real-world problems and context; our student teams work under faculty guidance to generate insights and solutions. Hosting a project is a way to advance your mission while giving students invaluable applied learning experiences.
Examples:
- Analyzing trends in public health outcomes
- Mapping local environmental risks
- Improving service delivery through data visualization
Offer mentorship
Mentors share professional expertise and career guidance with students. This can range from one-time guest lectures to ongoing one-on-one or group mentoring. Your insights help students connect classroom knowledge to real-world practice and build the networks they’ll need in their future careers.
Sponsor events or workshops
Support program-wide events such as hackathons, data showcases, or professional development workshops. Sponsorships help us create high-impact experiences for students, bring in guest speakers, and expand access to tools and resources.
